What Vera collects
- Your phone number, first name and business name.
- Bank balances and transactions, read-only, through Plaid.
- QuickBooks invoices, bills and purchases, read-only, plus receipt photos you choose to attach.
- The texts and photos you send Vera.
What Vera never gets
- Your bank or QuickBooks password. You sign in on Plaid's and Intuit's own pages.
- Any way to move money, pay bills or send invoices.
How it’s used
Only to answer your questions and attach receipts you approve. Your messages and receipt photos are processed by our AI provider to read them and write replies. We don't sell your data or use it for ads.
Security
Bank and QuickBooks access keys are encrypted at rest. Anything that changes your books waits for your yes first.
Waitlist emails
Vera isn’t open yet. If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address, where on the page you signed up, when, and which version of the sign-up wording you saw. We use it only to email you launch updates and your invite, and we don’t share it or use it for ads. Your IP address is used for a moment to stop repeated sign-ups and is never stored. To be removed, reply to any of our emails and we’ll delete it.
